3 Things To Be Thankful For This Thanksgiving

Updated: Dec 9, 2020

I am thankful for a lot of things in this season. This season "Corona time," has been crazy for all of us. I think we have the opportunity to still be grateful to God, having health, family, and so much more. Thanksgiving is an excellent time to reflect on what you are thankful for and how your life has been this year so far. Although there is a Pandemic, there are still so many things to be grateful for. Thanksgiving or the holiday season makes you think about what the most important things are in life. I hope you take the time to think about the parts of your life that you are most grateful for. The list can go on forever on what you are thankful for, but I wanted to focus on three main topics.

3 Things To Be Thankful For This Thanksgiving

Thankful For God

The most important thing that I am incredibly grateful for is God. He is a part of my life, guiding and being with me every day. I can follow Jesus each day of my life. God is transforming me and working in me each day. I am beyond thankful for the Holy Spirit being my Comforter. The Holy Spirit is there with us during the bad times, anxiety, and worry. God never leaves us or abandons us. He is with you in a mountain or valley. All can say that having Jesus has made life have more meaning, hope, and grace in my life. I will leave y'all this Bible verse, "Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Thankful For Family

I am pretty sure this Pandemic has made your family closer. Many people are spending more time at home with their families. Thankfully our families are safe at home together. My family has gotten closer during this Pandemic. I am very family oriented person. Thanksgiving always you to create better and more memories with your family. No matter if your family is small or big, you are thankful to each one of them. I have a family of 8 so Thanksgiving is big and loud. I hope you can at least spend your Thanksgiving with close family and friends with the recommended restrictions. You can do some fun activities together like playing card games. One activity I enjoy the most with my family is enjoying food. I wonder what is activity you enjoy other than food.

Thankful For Health

Sometimes we overlook having good health. I am so thankful that I am healthy because there was a time earlier this year that I was sick. I was not in the right place in my health for a couple of months. Once healing happens from whatever illness, your sense of gratitude becomes greater. You can forget the food on your plate every day. We live in a country where there is access to food in almost every corner. Having a meal is a small worry to some of us, but it is a big worry for others. Once I volunteered at for a Thanksgiving for the homeless. It brought me so much gratitude and it made me realize how much food I have. Every year it reminds that I can get a Turkey and other foods on Thanksgiving.

Lastly I am thankful for subscribers to taking the time to support me.

However, you celebrate Thanksgiving; you will probably go around the table and say what you are grateful . So here is my question to you. What are three things you are thankful for this Thanksgiving? Leave a comment! Share this post if you felt impacted, and subscribe to the email list.
